Our 19th Century Home Renovation in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire

Our house was built shortly after 1812. It is the last house on a terrace atop a hill in the Wiltshire town of Bradford-on-Avon and has an amazing view of the town below. Chris purchased the house in 2007 after a crack in the exterior prompted an auction.

It hadn’t been lived in since the 1970s and had a massive damp problem, so by the time we got our hands on it, the whole house basically needed to be gutted. The whole process was complicated because of the limited access, but we learned a lot along the way and are very pleased with how it turned out.
