Mouse To Minx
Project Overview
Mouse to Minx was probably the most challenging design in terms of learning curve. The site uses pngs and layers to achieve a "scrapbook" feel, which was relatively edgy mid-2007. The store itself is an English lifestyle boutique and in an interior reminiscent of a traditional tea shop which sells original fashion, accessories, jewellery, books, china and items for the home.
What I Learned
This project taught me a lot about pngs and using negative margins and absolute positioning to achieve layers with CSS. It was also the most difficult to browser test and I encountered many bugs along the way.
