I’ve only just found your blog, but I lived in England for 10 years and those things mostly exist, they’re just harder to find! For example, German apple sauce (tastes just like the North American stuff) can be found in health food stores. http://www.betterfood.co.uk/ in Bristol would be a good place to look. The candy store in Bristol’s St Nick’s market has Reese’s PB cups. They even do mail order! http://www.treasureislandsweets.co.uk/

(sorry, I don’t have any Bath examples! )
Oh yea, Costco in Bristol has some great imports too, like frozen Amy’s bean and cheese burritos! We used to buy them by the box.

Hey, random stumble.

You can get peanut butter cups from Asda, topshop (randomly)… an also nutrageous bars from tesco. Some local shops stock them both, too

Also, try get a costco card, loads of stuff there on your list! and if you’re feeling rich, head to manchester and go to Selfridges for tonnes of American/Canadian food goods such as Mac & Cheese, smuckers etc

Yeah, most of those things you can find here but they’re certainly not as commonplace as in Canada

I have bought Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups from Euro-Bulk supermarked Aldi. I gotta say though, if you’re looking for reasonably priced anything then you’ve come to the wrong country. We get ripped off on everything… Except maybe beer… Beer is a lot cheaper here than in Canada.

My brother lives in Ireland (has been there for 8 years) and he requests a couple of things from Canada: Right Guard deodorant, Cheese Whiz, and Bits’nBites. I can’t believe though that they don’t have stick deodorant! Sheesh.

I enjoy the different tastes and palates of a good, fresh and locally brewed mega-beer like labatts, and letting it airate over the course of the pitcher.

Maple Syrup, like California blueberries and strawberries, dont have the same nutrients as our fertile and natural Canadian products. Maple syrup, any of us could send you that, or you could order it online.

I don’t know about Bath but you can find Reese Peanut Butter Cups in Bristol. There’s a shop in the centre just off Corn St. (and beside Reflections) that has them.

PS: Love the new layout. (Was going across all the blogs I have bookmarked as I remember someone had a tutorial on doing a photo into a vector.)

You don’t really know what you will miss till you don’t have it any more! Eh!? HA

I recently found out that I am allergic to tree nuts! That means ALL nuts but peanuts. BLOW to my mind! I can’t have things that I thought I could because they say now it can be a life threatening situation! So I kinda know how you feel except I have the stuff staring me in the FACE!!!
